Since their creation in Dublin
in 2001 Charlotte..s Shadow have dabbled in many genres and
has drawn upon many diverse influences.
Later to reemerge in Germany the band ascertained their
unique style that still proves to set them apart today. On
many Levels it can be said that the band has been heavily
influenced by the emotions that has dominated the early Gothic
scene. Concentrating on concepts of romanticism, melancholy;
despair and uncovering beauty in despondency Charlotte..s
Shadow endeavour to remain loyal to what their true definition
of Goth music might be. It is through this style and commitment
to the fundamental Goth genre, that the band has won over
a strong fan base, and continue to receive critical acclaim
worldwide.
After the outstanding response from their first two albums "Love & Hate
/ No Tears" released by Cynfeirdd, and "Hush" with
the label The Art Records, Charlotte..s Shadow are now on
the verge of releasing their third album, which promises
to be their most impressive work to date.
Having toured internationally in 2006
with performances at the Wave Gothic Treffen and Chorna
Rada Charlotte..s Shadow have preformed with a broad range
of bands including some notables like Clan of Xymox, The
Cruxshadows, Nosferatu, Untoten and Soko Friedhof, The
faces of Sarah and many more. The group are currently looking
forward to their new schedule, which will include more
live performance in even more countries
and venues.
